Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Kelvo ("Kelvo," "we," "us," or "our"), including the website and any related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, joining a trip, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

What Kelvo is

Kelvo helps a group plan a trip: an organizer sets up a trip, members submit their budget and preferences, we generate a shortlist of destinations, the group votes, and once a destination is locked in, the organizer can unlock a full itinerary for a one-time fee.

Accounts

You need a verified email to create or organize a trip. You're responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity that happens under your account. Let us know right away if you think your account has been compromised.

Trip content and other members

Anything you submit to a trip — budget ranges, preferences, passport/nationality, votes, or other responses — is visible to other members of that trip. Don't submit information about someone else without their knowledge, and don't use the Service to collect information you're not authorized to collect.

Trip organizers are responsible for who they invite and for how they use information collected from trip members.

Destination suggestions and itineraries aren't guarantees

Destination shortlists, cost estimates, visa flags, and AI-generated itineraries are provided to help with planning — they are directional, not verified pricing or legal advice. Visa and entry requirements change and can vary by circumstance; always confirm official requirements with the relevant government or embassy before booking or traveling.

Itinerary content may be generated using AI and can contain errors. Kelvo does not book travel, and we're not a party to any booking you make based on suggestions from the Service.

Payments

Unlocking a full itinerary for a trip costs a one-time fee, shown at checkout, and is processed securely by Stripe. By paying, you authorize us (via Stripe) to charge your payment method for that amount.

Because the itinerary unlock is delivered immediately after payment, purchases are generally non-refundable, except where required by law or at our discretion. Contact [CONTACT EMAIL] if something went wrong with your payment.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for anything unlawful or fraudulent
• Attempt to access another user's trip or account without authorization
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including by introducing malware or attempting to bypass security controls
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or resell the Service without our permission

We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these Terms.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any destination, cost, visa, or itinerary information will be accurate or complete.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kelvo and its operators won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including travel costs, missed bookings, or visa issues. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Changes to the Service or these Terms

We may update the Service or these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes to the Terms, we'll update the effective date above. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
